Mark: Could you shed some light on, what is referred to as "Yen crosses"?
I'm guessing that this might refer to movements in the USD and CHF, that might affect the Yen?
The following is from Wachtel's comments on AVAFX. Thanks very much.
"The Swiss Franc’s strong uptrend took a blow on a combination of dovish SNB comments and the Yen intervention. Popular yen crosses like the commodity dollars and the Euro and USD, were also popular Swiss franc cross positions. The intervention triggered an unwind of the long yen positions, boosting these same currencies relative to the CHF, thus driving the Franc lower."
